As the 48th César Ceremony approaches...

The poster for the 2023 edition of the César Ceremony unveils a poster from our film Annette by Leos Carax, which won the Best Director award at last year's César Awards.

Beautifully lit by cinematographer Caroline Champetier, the poster shows the character of Ann Desfranoux, played by Marion Cotillard, a world-famous singer, singing on an opera stage in the middle of a fictional forest setting. Leos Carax transports us between imagination and reality, like a metaphor for the magic of cinema. The aim of this poster is to remind us that cinema is a bridge between fiction and reality. Ideal when the film is enjoyed for playing with our perceptions, transporting us into a poetic and dreamlike world that is totally harmonious.

The César ceremony will be held on 24 February at L'Olympia in Paris and can be followed live and exclusively at 9pm on Canal Plus
