"The Pod Generation" will have its premiere at the American Film Festival in Deauville.

For the occasion, Emilia Clarke will receive the New Hollywood Award.

On Sunday, September 3rd, at the Deauville Festival, "The Pod Generation" by Sophie Barthes will be presented, in which Emilia Clarke stars alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor. Both actors find themselves immersed in a society that naively believes in technology and uses it as the ultimate solution to all problems. The film explores several themes throughout its narrative, including the frantic pursuit of cutting-edge technology, the lack of regulation of tech giants, as well as subjects like motherhood and consumerism.

Gaining international recognition for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen, also known as the Mother of Dragons, for eight seasons in the iconic series "Game of Thrones" (2011-2019), her character earned her four Emmy Award nominations in the Best Actress category among other accolades.

During the ceremony on Sunday, September 3rd, the Festival will honor her presence by awarding her the New Hollywood Prize. Following that, "The Pod Generation" will be screened!
